1 Bartholomew Lane is a new high quality office development within the City of London, comprising of over 79,000ft² of flexible Grade A commercial office space.
The building structure is set out over 13 floors, based on a retained listed external facade over the lower 6 floors, with a new facade being provided to the remaining upper floors. The main reception is modelled on a double height space, based on a contemporary design incorporating unique features.
The specification for the offices is finished to a Category A standard, based on a fully flexible air-conditioned environment and has been designed to achieve a ‘Very Good’ BREEAM rating.
Responsible for the design, development, installation and commissioning of the MEPH Building Services, Briggs and Forrester installed fully integrated mechanical, electrical, public health and central intelligent systems. These systems incorporated both sustainable and renewable energy options, to offer current and future (CAPEX & OPEX) value solutions for the development.
